ABOUT THIS PAGE
FolioTrend is a financial research and information platform. It is not a broker, investment adviser, financial planner, or money manager. It does not execute trades, hold your funds, or manage your money. Everything it produces is informational and educational.
To work, FolioTrend relies on the third-party data and service providers listed below. For each one this page explains, in plain English, what it does, what data it accesses, and where to find its own privacy policy or terms.
Automatic brokerage account connections are coming soon and are not yet available. Once launched, connecting will be optional and any linked account can be disconnected at any time.
1. SUPABASE
What it does: Supabase hosts our database and handles the sign-in system for your FolioTrend account.
What data it accesses: The information you give us to run your account and your portfolio: your name, username, email address, a hashed (scrambled) password, your holdings and watchlist, your onboarding answers, and your consent records.
Their policy: supabase.com/privacy
2. STRIPE
What it does: Stripe processes payments for paid plans. Your card details go directly to Stripe. FolioTrend never sees your full card number.
What data it accesses: Your payment details, which you enter directly with Stripe, and your subscription and billing history. FolioTrend receives your plan and billing status, not your full card number.
Their policy: stripe.com/privacy
3. RESEND

What data it accesses: Your email address and the content of the emails we send you.
Their policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
4. GOOGLE
What it does: Google lets you sign in to FolioTrend with your Google account instead of creating a password.

Their policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Their policy: polygon.io/privacy-policy
7. COINGECKO

What data it accesses: Public economic data. It does not need your personal data to supply this data. The link below is FRED's API terms of use.
Their policy: FRED API terms of use
9. SEC EDGAR

Their policy: policies.google.com/privacy
11. UPSTASH
What it does: Upstash provides Redis caching that helps FolioTrend run faster.
What data it accesses: Temporary cached data used to speed up the app.
Their policy: upstash.com/trust/privacy.pdf
12. INNGEST OR EQUIVALENT
What it does: Inngest, or an equivalent service, runs background jobs for FolioTrend: AI agent tasks, email delivery and data sync.
What data it accesses: The data needed to run those background tasks.
Their policy: inngest.com/privacy
13. BROKERAGE CONNECTIONS (COMING SOON)
What it does: FolioTrend plans to let you connect a brokerage or crypto exchange account (for example Robinhood, Fidelity, Schwab, or Coinbase) to sync your portfolio automatically. This feature is coming soon and is not yet available — today, holdings are added manually or imported via CSV.
What data it will access: Once available, connecting will be optional, read-only, and disconnectable at any time. FolioTrend will never receive or store your brokerage login credentials, and will never place trades on your behalf.
