What FolioTrend is
FolioTrend is a financial research and information platform for beginner and self-directed investors. You import your holdings from a CSV file exported from your brokerage or exchange, and FolioTrend scores each position, maps the risk in your portfolio and explains the results in plain English.

What FolioTrend is not
FolioTrend is not a broker, an investment adviser, a financial planner or a money manager. It does not place trades, hold funds, manage money or connect to your brokerage account. Everything it produces is informational and educational, and every decision about your own money stays with you.

How the research is built
Factor scores, forward price ranges and backtests are built from historical market data and standard statistical methods. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and any model can be wrong. Market data can be delayed, incomplete or occasionally wrong. See the data providers page for the sources we use.

Who runs FolioTrend
FolioTrend (foliotrend.com) is operated as a sole proprietorship based in California. The Terms and Privacy Policy describe how the service works and how personal data is handled, and the disclaimer explains the limits of what FolioTrend provides.
